I got tired of asking “Does this have nuts in it?”
About me:
Hello! My name is Mazin and I’m a 16-year-old student at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire. While not at school, I live in New Canaan. For my whole life I have had a deadly tree nut allergy that has made it difficult, and sometime stressful, for me to eat in restaurants. My primary focus in creating this website is to make dining safer and more accessible for people with allergies so that nobody has to feel anxious about eating.
About my website:
Motivated by the desire to make life easier for individuals with food allergies, I designed a website specifically dedicated to helping people identify menu items that contain allergens. This platform acts as a user-friendly resource providing allergen information for various restaurants and eateries.
My website's main objective is to empower individuals with food allergies, like me, to make informed choices about what they eat. With a simple and intuitive interface, users can effortlessly navigate through different menus and identify the presence of allergens, such as nuts, in specific dishes.
Building this website has been a fulfilling endeavor for me, as it combines my passion for technology with my personal experiences. I strongly believe that everyone should have equal access to safe and allergen-free dining options, and my website aims to bridge this gap. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
